1) Who we are

SEKTA is the internal business platform of KSTUDIO SIA (trading as "KSTUDIO", "we", "us"), a video and creative production studio.

2) What these Terms cover

These Terms govern access to sekta.app and to any services ordered from KSTUDIO. Access to the platform is granted to our own staff and to named collaborators we invite. It is not a public sign-up service. Where we sign a separate agreement, statement of work, or order form, that document prevails wherever the two conflict.

3) Accounts and access

Accounts are created and revoked by KSTUDIO. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity performed under your account. Do not share access with anyone who has not been granted it.

4) Connected social accounts

The platform connects to social media accounts through the official APIs of the relevant platforms (for example Meta, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit) using OAuth. Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to publish to, and read metrics from, the accounts they belong to. We do not resell platform data or give third parties access to it.

By connecting an account you confirm that you are entitled to grant that access and that publishing through it complies with the rules of the platform concerned.

5) Third-party platforms

Third-party platforms set their own terms and moderation rules, may change them, and may remove or restrict content or revoke API access. We are not responsible for their decisions, downtime, or policy changes, and we do not guarantee reach, impressions, or commercial results.

6) Services, fees, and payment

Where KSTUDIO provides production or creative services, scope, deliverables, timeline, and price are set out in a proposal and take effect once accepted in writing. Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise, and invoices are due within 14 days unless the proposal says otherwise. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

7) Intellectual property

You keep all rights in the materials you provide, and grant us a licence to use them to deliver the services. Rights in final deliverables transfer to you once the related invoices are paid in full. Our pre-existing know-how, templates, source project files, pipelines, and internal tools, including this platform, remain ours.

8) Acceptable use

Do not use the platform to publish unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content, to breach a platform's rules, to attempt to breach the platform's security, or to extract data at scale for purposes other than the work at hand.

9) Confidentiality

Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the engagement. This does not apply to information that is already public, was already known, is independently developed, or must be disclosed by law.

10) Data protection

Personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, we will do so under a separate data processing agreement on request.

11) Warranties and liability

We provide the services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that the platform is provided "as is", and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill, and our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for it in the preceding 12 months.

12) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or withdraw access at any time, in particular where payment is overdue, where continued use would breach law or platform rules, or when a person leaves the project or the company.

13) Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version is always published at this address with its effective date. Changes are not retroactive.

14) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, and disputes that cannot be resolved by discussion go to the competent courts of Latvia.
